As a home based business distributorship, you purchase the goods or services from a wholesaler, from the manufacturer, or from a company that is an intermediary between the manufacturer and distributor.

Multilevel Marketing

With this home based business, you purchase the product from the manuracturer and sell it directly to the consumer. Also, you recruit others to become a distributor. The difference between multi-level marketing and a "pyramid" scheme is that in multi-level marketing, emphasis is placed on selling the product. In a "pyramid" scheme, the emphasis is on recruiting people. The product or service gets lost.

 Retail Sales

In this section, we describe home based business opportunities in which you may create products, purchase goods or services and resell them, such as antiques, or sell directly from the Internet.
